Dance Styles

All our dance crew are professional dancers in various forms of dance. We have the most talented foreigners and local dancers in Taiwan to suit any of your events. We are available for both large and small events. Below is a brief description of the dances performed by Total Xtreme Dance Company.

International Latin 

Is an International Style of dance, which is danced mostly in competitions and has now become very famous among people wanting to perform. Dances are technically choreographed and people usually need to master their routines.  These dances include: Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble and Jive.

Commercial Latin Dances

Also known as Street or Nightclub Latin Dance. It is usually done on a social level, people learn how to lead and follow while making different patterns and is very popular around the World. These dances may also be competitive and technically structured with acrobatics and different dance techniques to amaze any audience  These dances include: Street Cha Cha, Brazilian Samba, Zouk/Lambada, Bachata, Merengue, and the most famous one, SALSA and all its styles ( On1, On2, Casino de Rueda, Salsa Romantica, LA Style, New York Style, Puerto Rican Style, Colombian Style and Cuban Style)

Ballroom Dances

Also known as,  International Standard  Ballroom Dances. Ballroom dance is a set of partner dances, which are enjoyed both socially and competitively around the world. Because of its performance and entertainment aspects, ballroom dance is also widely enjoyed on stage, film, and television. These Dances include: Waltz, Tango, Viennese Walzs, Foxtrot and Quick Step.

Jazz

Jazz is a free formed style of dance which is full of rhythm and syncopation. Jazz dance is present in many different forms such as: Afro, Broadway, Latin, Lyrical, Street, Broadway, Funk, etc.  Jazz dance is commonly taught in dance schools and performed by dance companies around the world. Jazz dance is similar to pop music videos. It is s also seen in competitive dance, and also on the television show, So You Think You Can Dance.
