Total Xtreme was just an idea in my mind when I was in Seattle. We were a bunch of people dedicated in different areas of dancing, and we exchanged our techniques and passion of dancing with each other. What we did that time was kind of extreme, that is how the company name was born. At that time, I could never foresee that I will be in Taiwan and bring my idea to reality in Taichung City, the origin of Taiwan Salsa. But now, Total Xtreme Dance Company is in Taichung with everybody here for six months.

 

Thanks to all our friends, students, and colleagues for all the support you have given us. For me, opening this studio is a turning point of my dance career. I was an instructor trying to help students dance with more confidence and better technique on the dance floor. I was also a promoter trying to open people’s eyes by bringing guests from abroad and taking people out of this island. Right now, on top of those, I am a director as well. I want to bring more dancers in Taichung and Taipei to professional level. Eventually, we can anticipate a better developed Salsa community in Taiwan with more decent and dedicated dancers.

 

The year 2009 is a crazy one for me. I have done four choreographs in this year, which is a record in my life. I am going to share with you all those choreographs tonight. And as I mentioned in my email before, thanks Jenna, Shosho, Chloe, Stephanie, Cherry, Marco, Jack, Johnson, Calvin, Nick, Stanley and James. I wouldn't have been able to achieve this without your help.

Total Xtreme Dance Company is very happy to be here with you. We are ambitious to make our dance community better. We are looking for people who share the same idea with us and are willing to grow with us. Because, you know, all those visions will come true only if you are here with us.
